The rest of the night was traumatic for Elena. The next morning, she left his place as soon as she woke up. She went back to her place and cried. Consent given after persuasion is not consent. When you consent only to make someone stop manipulating and pressuring you, it's coercion, and it's NOT okay. The aftereffect of sexual coercion involves a lot of traumas. You can feel as if it wasn't sexual assault as you said yes, but it was. Consent is voluntary and verbal. If you're being forced to consent, it's not consent. It's assault.
